I think the creators made all the right calls when it came to the pacing as well as deciding how much to show. something about me: I have adhd, i get bored with slow horror movies. Not this one. I will say, you probably have to be in the right mood for it if you're like me, but if you are, i think you'll be captivated too. Another thing about me: I'm not always a fan of vague monsters that don't get shown much (I tend to find it lazy) but this movie movie creates a frightening sense of mystery.

Disappointing. Ultimately this movie was a boring and unintelligent series of eerie images. We are given no reason to connect with the characters or their experience other than a vague and poorly developed sense of nostalgia. The three or four high points of drama that were no more than jump scares were separated by long spans of empty content, which I'm sure the creators hoped would act as a trans like experience. Really this was just boring, predictable, and nihilistic. Thanks for nothing.

This film seemed to be one of a kind. I admired the art and powerful metaphors this movie was able to create with so little dialogue. More isn't always better, and this movie and movies like "A Ghost Story," I find special and impactful. I didn't get bored although I will say this is a slow movie completely separate from the slasher genre. This is more about drawing connections with the scenes and leaning into the film. Love the development and related to the young characters. Recommend it
