This movie is not perfect. No movie is. However, for what it is, I think it’s an amazing watch. Each and every song is either catchy, emotional, or just fun to listen to, while the art and animation is incredible. I am a sucker for pan shots, and this movie has a few of them that are just so satisfying to watch. There’s something for everyone in here. And I absolutely love Spinel as a character. I won’t spoil anything, but I think her character was done perfectly. The plot is something that’s been done before, but the way this movie does it makes it new all over again. The pacing is really well done, and I especially liked Amethyst’s arc here (though I won’t go into detail here, watch the movie for yourself!). I am 17 years old. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this series. I dare say that a good portion- maybe even half- of this audience is adult. Don’t let that 9-12 rating fool you. Ask anyone who is a fan of this series and they’ll tell you that it’s not just for kids. There’s something here for everyone. Incredible job to everyone involved! You all should be proud of what you’ve created over there! 👏🏻 👏🏻

Everyone has different likes and interests, and I loved this movie from beginning to end. I found it had a great, consistent pace; most (if not all) of the songs were either catchy, beautiful, or a bit of both. I thoroughly enjoyed Spinels arc; her choices made sense from her point of view (considering her past). I'm trying to have a balanced review of this movie, but I am having trouble thinking of things I dislike. Some things need improvement; for example, I would have loved to see more fusions and more of Connie, though I did enjoy learning more about the characters and a little more about their history. The best thing you can do is watch the movie and see for yourself if it is the kind of movie you would enjoy.

Complete garbage. The pacing is all over the place, the majority is a glorified recap episode that leaves out important events, Steg, there are literally massive plot holes, there is no lasting impact, and if that weren't enough, it ignores and completely contradicts it's -OWN MESSAGE- in the finale. This film does not need to exist, and it's even likely that season 5 would be less mediocre if the team had put the time, resources, and work, into those episodes instead of this trainwreck.
