About this show

When Marcus Lemonis isn't running his multibillion-dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In the past 10 years, he's successfully turned around over 100 companies. Now he's bringing those skills to CNBC...and he's putting over his own millions on the line. In each episode, Lemonis makes an offer that's impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he'll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself. Marcus is ""The Profit"" and will do whatever it takes to fix a failing business--hire people, fire people and even spend his own money.

I appreciate Mr. Lemonis does not tell people they are flat-out stupid or berate them. He validates them by giving respect to their experience. He allows them options to pass the baton & not be run over. Great to see he offers different, more efficient and forward-thinking improved ideas without trouncing the little guys for not having the back ground and experience to be successful without him.

This was a great show I would've missed if not for my brother referring it to me due my decade plus fascination with the #TinyHouse / #VanLife / sustainable movement. Seems this CEO has some humane heart vs the more atypical #profitOVERpeople of more than not.
