About this show

Christopher Meloni, reprising his role as Elliot Stabler, returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler will aim to find absolution and rebuild his life while leading an elite new task force that is taking apart the city's most powerful crime syndicates one by one.

I am not certain why the five-star reviews for this nothing burger. They try to use all of this dramatic music to make up for the lack of content. It is just this mundane droning on sad on. I could hardly make it through episode 1. I had to fast-forward numerous times. Such boring dialogue, no action, just boring.

Finding it hard to get into this one. Not sure why, except maybe because I was expecting SVU'S Olivia Benson to be in it more. I LOVED the chemistry between the 2 and I'm so glad Stablers back!! The series premiere was awesome, but I have fallen asleep through almost all the rest. So just 3 stars for now, hopefully itll change to 5 soon.
