About this show

This is a compelling drama about a prestigious ad agency in New York's Madison Avenue. Mad Men (an affectionate term coined for those working in the agencies) is set in the early 60's when sexism, homophobia, dubious family values and misogyny were rife, and smokers were enjoying the last guilt free years of the cigarette. These were the early years of mass consumerism where everyone was selling someone something and ad men were revered. A sophisticated, no holds barred drama from the Writer and Executive Producer of The Sopranos.

An excellent show with great characters set during a seminal time period, I feel like I have learnt more about the sixties from Don Draper and cohorts than any history book. Eagerly awaiting the finale.

Why the hell have you put this on and then not put the first season on it. So we wait for Google TV shows to come to the uk and what do we get everything that has been on TV and get on TV right now

One of my all time favorite TV shows. All the series ate now available. The price could be better and it's currently cheaper, in standard definition at least, to buy the episodes individually than buy the a series. Strange.
