About this movie

Michelle, Olivia and Lizzie were best friends at university. A team. But that was 30 years ago. Each dreads a reunion in London at Michelle's 50th birthday party. Life hasn't gone exactly to plan. One failed marriage, stalled careers, no hope of romance. Is it too late to start over? Not when they rediscover the bonds of friendship.

Each woman has a dream and a personal quest. She can't succeed on her own. But there's a bigger community out there. It starts with the power of three.

Finally a feel good movie for people with an I.Q. above room temperature who are older than 35. Not a Hollywood film by any means since it doesn't caricature older people but rather celebrates them. People of all ages working together to achieve a common goal... leaves you with a smile on your face and admiration for the three friends..

If you like British movies, this little gem is worth watching. It avoids the American movie clichés of women backstabbing each other, singing into their hair dryers, competing for the same men etc. Perseverance and strength are what older women like me bring to the table.

A life affirming movie for women and men over age 50. By turns funny, poignant and uplifting. The film has a point to make about ageism and sexism but makes it without being heavy handed. Shows the power of friendships and hope and how important it is to feel relevant and alive when we get older.
