Better Off Ted

Meet Ted Crisp, Head of Research and Development at Veridian Technologies, a corporation that thrives on its company ethos: there is no such thing as right or wrong. This week, Ted has to convince his uptight boss Veronica he's up to the task and persuades a Veridian scientist to be cryogenically frozen for one year. Of course it's for the good of the company.

Another day, another problem. Ted and his R&D team discover the taste of despair as they struggle to develop cow-less beef, and whilst Ted sticks to his `only one office affair allowed' rule, Veronica flirts outrageously with Phil. A corporate shark showing interest in a low-level lab geek with enough leverage to sue the company: coincidence?

Rose stirs things up at Veridian when Ted is left with no choice but to bring his daughter to work. Phil and Lem are played off against each other while Veronica sees Rose as the perfect firing weapon.

Lem and Phil revolutionise the light switch with a state-of-the-art sensor that detects light reflected off the skin. There's just one problem: it doesn't see black people.

Its dog eat dog at Veridian as the employees turn up the heat, and Phil and Lem accidentally drug Linda with energy.

Ted Crisp never worked at Veridian, according to the company's database - but there is a Ted Chips. Veronica informs Ted that it's just a computer glitch and only requires a system reboot, but the cost of the quick fix is worth more than Ted's job.
