About this show

Seventeen-year-old Paul is haunted by apocalyptic dreams that neither his therapist or best friend and fellow geeky social outcast Mac can provide answers for. Worse still, Paul is starting to see the Fades - the spirits of the dead - all around him. They're everywhere but they just can't be seen, heard or touched by ordinary human beings. But now an embittered and vengeful Fade has found a way to break the barrier between the dead and the living and Paul and Mac and their friends and family are all right in the eye of the storm. The fate of humanity rests in the hands of two teenagers who already have enough trouble getting through a day in one piece, let alone saving the world.

Absolutely loved this one. Was pissed off when BBC cancelled it after 1 season. Typical BBC only put on television shows for pensioners and boring people. Total waste of tv license money. They should scrap the license seeing as with digital aireals most of us have to get sky or some other Tv viewing option, as freeview does not work cos they didn't replace the original aireals with the digital ones.

It started off a bit confusing, but it became clear the story had shifted back in time, and then made sense. What wasn't required was most of episode 3, and all of episode 4 replaying, without any new insight, exactly what happened in the first 2 episodes. Really? The storyline wasn't that complicated that a 5 min recap wouldn't have worked, 15 mins max, but well over an hour? I liked the ending, as it left no opening for a second season, not if you really think about it... Good performances from the cast.

Don't know why the BBC didn't do a 2nd series this was great. Rather an original idea from the usual zombie and vampire supernatural stuff (not that that stuff is bad but new ideas are always welcome). It was gripping, and really creepy, a real shame they didn't do a second series!
