Ray is adrift from his family, estranged from Ezra, and his latest celebrity client is a nobody with tawdry taste. But after he's called to the funeral of a close friend, a wealthy family enlists Ray to free their kidnapped son, and he finds himself enmeshed with an entirely new class of people. Meanwhile, a retired Mickey stumbles upon a new enterprise. Unforgiven by Ray and rejected by Bridget, Abby encounters a new friend on the streets of Los Angeles. Running the Fite Club has given Bunchy confidence in certain arenas, but when it comes to collecting membership dues from an intimidating troupe of Luchadores, he loses his nerve.

Frustrated with Ray and lured away by another opportunity, Lena considers quitting. In prison, Terry tries to fly under the radar by aligning himself with a group of weak inmates, but winds up in a prison fight with dangerous consequences. Mickey tries to take over Gary's business, but the prostitutes find his methods behind the times. Bunchy is tormented by Teresa, an attractive Luchadora who insults the Fite Club. After an embarrassing incident, Abby tries to motivate Conor. Bridget tries to get Ray to come home for a family dinner.

Terry's life is in danger after killing an Aryan in prison. Eager to free him, Ray and Mickey make desperate attempts to get him released. Though he had rejected further association with Andrew Finney, Ray must turn to him again to exploit his access to a very powerful man. Meanwhile, Mickey and Daryll pitch a new and improved strategy to the prostitutes. Bunchy decides to invest in putting on a Luchadora show at the Fite Club to keep Teresa around. Abby hits her breaking point with the family.

Having traded Terry's freedom for exclusive employ in the Finney organization, Ray puts out fires while Paige tries to broker a deal to sell the studio to Chinese buyers so that she can buy an NFL team. Terry adjusts badly to life outside of prison, and finds himself in the middle of a welcome home party Mickey throws that Terry doesn't want. Abby goes to Boston and reconnects with her Southie family whom she hasn't seen in years, including her sister who hates Ray. With both parents out of the house, Conor cuts school to throw a party but winds up in over his head. Bridget is angry at her math teacher, but discovers he has a tragic past.
5 Handshake Deal

Finney tasks Ray with securing incriminating voicemails that could bring down the governor and sink their NFL deal, but the mission turns Ray into a wedge between Finney and Paige. With Abby off visiting her estranged father in Boston, it falls on Ray to help Bridget with her scholastic and emotional turmoil. Meanwhile, Mickey and Daryll sell a coke-and-hooker party to a Silicon Valley start-up, but it gets out of hand and Conor is thrust into a life-changing experience. Back at the Fite Club, the tension in Bunchy and Teresa's relationship finds an unusual release.

It's Election Day, and with his stake of the NFL team in writing, Ray must take down a rival bidder and ensure Verona's reelection in order to protect their ownership. Bridget also participates in the election, volunteering at the polls to get closer to her math teacher. Mickey, meanwhile, has to find a way to keep Ginger and the other prostitutes working, or face the wrath of Mrs. Minassian. On a trip to win back Teresa, Bunchy confides in Romero, and Terry, left alone at the Fite Club, sees signs that the Aryans might be after him.
7 All Must Be Loved

After the governor's loss, it appears that Ray's NFL dream is over, but he's not willing to give up. In the midst of bribing Fish and Game to approve the stadium's construction, he's contacted by Father Romero. Ray and Terry go to the Paraclete to do damage control. Meanwhile Bunchy, hoping to provide for Teresa, demands his settlement money from Ray. When Ray refuses, Bunchy takes up arms with Mickey against the Minassians.

As Ray attempts to force a Finney rival into selling his land, Romero appears at the Fite Club, challenging Ray to repent for his sins. Back in North Hollywood, the Minassians are out for revenge, and a gangs officer tempts Mickey with protection in exchange for cooperation with the police. Finney unexpectedly calls Ray back into his service when a complication involving Varick arises.
9 The Octopus

Bunchy's arrival to his own wedding is jeopardized when Detective Muncie arrests him in an attempt to draw Mickey out of hiding. Ray must track down his father and bring him to the police station in order to get Bunchy to the altar. Meanwhile, the NFL makes a serendipitous hire, and an old rival of Ray's is assigned to vet the Finney family.
10 One Night In Yerevan

Mickey knows he's a dead man if he gives in to Muncie's demands. Ray comes up with a two-sided fix to help him, involving Lee Drexler and an Armenian popstar - but not without some demands of his own. Meanwhile, Bridget gets into a fight at school that leads Abby to investigate her recent strange behavior.

Finney and Cochran team up to frame Ray for Varick's murder, forcing Ray to reshuffle the evidence and enlist Paige as an ally in order to maintain his innocence. Meanwhile, Mickey ignores Ray's instructions to leave town and pushes his luck by throwing himself a goodbye party. Back at the Donovan home, Abby and Terry work together to bring Bridget's behavior back under control.
