About this movie

To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (Mel Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Chris gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin (Walton Goggins), hired by a precocious 12-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. 'Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action- dark comedy that keeps on giving.

Hunter of The Shadows

Very disappointed with the film. Slow, boring and ending could have been way better and saved the film if Santa vowed to rid the world of greed and naughty children that would eventually end up being evil in the world, and finished with the kid being transported to a life of poverty or out of existence.

This is a funny, weird, strange and enjoyable film. Mel Gibson makes a very good grumpy father xmas. Some laughs and a bit of action make it a good 90 mins of fun. Give it a go, its not a classic but Mel can still carry a film.

This is an incredible film! Superb script (no line wasted), with thriller-style direction, photography and score. There's 100% commitment to the premise by all concerned, where lesser films would have felt the need to apologise. It has a grim, realistic tone, but with an underlying belief in the power of the Christmas spirit. Terrific stuff.
