The Gift

A fruit basket, a pack of crandy, a new toy or a bottle of sweet berry wine.... These are all ideas for for a good grift. But why do I never get grifts? How come no one wants to offer ME a nice grift even for my birthday? When I turned 6 my mommy offered me a new cage to sleep in and a pack of raisins... But that was the last grift I ever got... (thank you mommy I love you). Anyway this dang movie is about a nice man who offers very nice grifts like fish, helicropter music, and deeveedees... Check it out

Got all hyped when I read the reviews and watched the trailer. The movie was a huge let down. The relationship felt like it was written by a teenager where Robyn suddenly does not know her husband any more after learning somethings about his past in a 12 year marriage which dealt with more troubling issues like drug abuse. Robyn overall felt like a disconnected character. The end was kinda anti climatic with an "oh ok" conclusion in which no one wins. Ok the bad-guy did something terrible but there is no reason Simon can't talk about it and shouldn't go to the police. There is much unexplored stalker plot in this movie which could have made it great.

An ending you won't expect! Great movie, holds your attention right to the end.
