The Addams Family

A truant officer visits the Addams house to find out why Wednesday and Pugsley have never been to school.

Gomez and Morticia seeks help from a child psychiatrist when Pugsley shows signs of normalcy; the doctor advises the couple to cater to Pugsley's childish whims.

Uncle Fester decides it's time for him to find a mate. Through a column in the local newspaper, he conducts a search and mistakes Miss Carver, a door-to-door cosmetics saleslady, for someone replying to his ad.

Gomez is very excited about the approaching election day and decides to support Sam Hilliard. At first, Hilliard is keen on receiving Gomez's contributions, but the Addams' suggestions soon make him wish they would stay away.

After receiving a rather insulting treatment from the Pomeroys, the Addams' hire Mr Pomeroy's genealogist to examine their lineage for ancestors they can boast about.

An escaped gorilla becomes part of the family, much to the surprise of Morticia's ladies group.
