A Thunder of Drums

1870s. On an isolated army outpost in Arizona, a conflict simmers between the battle-scarred commander and his rookie lieutenant, a recent graduate from the West Point military academy. The conflict erupts into hostility when the lieutenant becomes romantically involved with the commander's former fiancée. But the rookie proves his courage when he leads his men defense of the outpost against an overwhelming force of Apaches.
