Tanu Weds Manu

A small-time love story – Tanu Weds Manu cooks up a rollercoaster ride of unlimited fun and good laughs! An NRI doctor, Manu in search of a bride comes to India and falls in love with a free-spirited Tanu. Their engagement is fixed but Tanu reveals that she's in love with someone else and it is her boyfriend, Jassi who had send goons to beat him up at the airport. Manu is heartbroken and being a man of morals rejects Tanu and takes the blame on himself. The two meet again at Manu's best friend's wedding where they eventually strike a friendship. Tanu reveals to Manu her plan of eloping with Jassi and asks him to be a witness at the court. Later, he realises Tanu's boyfriend is the same guy who's sister was one of the prospective brides for him. Manu then decides to convince Tanu's parents for her marriage to Jassi and while doing so, Tanu develops feelings for him. She eventually confesses, Manu accepts her and the two now have to deal with a very angry boyfriend, Jassi! And amidst all this chaos how Tanu weds Manu forms an interesting climax of the film.
