Autumn 2015. At the Paris Opera, Stéphane Lissner is putting the finishing touches to his first press conference as director. Backstage, artists and technicians prepare for the opening of the new season with Schönberg's "Moses and Aaron". But the announcement of a strike and the arrival of a bull as a supporting actor cause unrest. At the same time, a promising young singer from Russia joins the Academy of Opera. In the corridors of the Bastille Opera, his path fatefully crosses with that of Bryn Terfel, one of the greatest voices of our time. As the season progresses, more and more characters join in, performing the human comedy in the style of a documentary opera. From classical ballet to musical theatre, OPER - L'OPÉRA DE PARIS sets the stage for human passions that are by turns ironic, light-hearted and serious, performing bits and pieces from life behind the scenes at one of the world's most famous stages.
