Beyond intriguing. Is it a comedy or a drama, a historic perspective of a tale told by three totally different male “ witnesses” ? Howard DaSilva is a sleeper of a persona, until he isn’t. Edward G Robinson’s barking laughs lended a bizarre humor to a terrifying shared story. Newly minted William Shatner is an unblinking preacher, n perhaps one of his first film roles. Paul Newman dares tan audience to take his Mexicano scoundrel seriously. Despite being distracted that this broken English drunk is clearly Newman. He looks like he’s having fun. Claire Bloom stuns with her convincing moral confusion & buried rage.Lawrence Harvey again the emotionless stif with serious personality conflicts. The movie is either a delightful surprise fest. Watch it.& see. Quirky👏🏻💐
