Suddenly It's Magic
Joey (Erich Gonzales), who has inherited the bakeshop and her mother’s recipe, meets Thai tourist Marcus (Mario Maurer) who falls in love with her. But Joey is cynical about love because she has never been able to contact her father (Jestoni Alarcon) when he was the Mayor, then Congressman and now the Governor. Then Joey finds out that Marcus is a famous actor in Thailand. Marcus teaches her to tie her wish to a balloon and release it in the air. Then Marcus’ mother comes to tell him he must go back and finish his project or be sued. Marcus agrees only if he could bring Joey along. Joey tries to understand when Marcus can’t make it home on time though he tries to make up. Marcus’ mother tells Joey about Marcus’ dream of making it in Hollywood. Joey decides to go home thinking their relationship is over, but Joey is delightfully surprised when her friends call her out and she sees so many balloons.
