There are much worse werewolf films than this one. This one's okay. Strange cast. There's the kid who played Dennis the Menace in the Walter Matthau film. Then there's Michael Paré, master of the '80's cult films such as Eddie and the Cruisers and Streets of Fire (my favorite was The Philadelphia Experiment), who never really became a star. But Mariel Hemingway was an even stranger star. I never understood her appeal. The film is most worth watching for Primo, the actor who plays the German Shephard, Thor. The novel this novel was based on was called Thor. He's the most sympathetic character in the film. And they do have a really despicable character that one is happy to see torn apart by the werewolf.

This was very enjoyable! Great story, easily followed, the cast is casting, and it’s believable!
The dog is the main character.
All I know is that Dog better have been paid a salary for that stellar performance he put on!
