Life is tough for the retiring, mild-mannered high schooler Gang Jin (Yoo Seon Ho) – his parents are mired in debt, and he is regularly picked on by school bully Nam Young (Yoo In Soo). That all changes when a tough-talking loan shark takes him under his wing... and teaches him the dark arts of his trade! All of a sudden, the school has a new tough guy – and Gang Jin’s interactions with Nam Young’s girlfriend Da Young (Kang Mina) set him on a collision course with his sometime tormentor! “Usury Academy” is a 2023 South Korean movie that was directed by Hwang Dong Suk.
