Rose's War

Written and directed by Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy (Desperate Optimists), Rose's War is a historical thriller based on the true story of an IRA armed raid in 1974. English heiress Rose Dugdale (Imogen Poots) masterminds the theft of 19 priceless paintings from one of Ireland's great aristocratic homes, Russborough in Co. Wicklow, in her efforts to finance the IRA's mission. Tracking her journey from privileged aristocrat to committed rebel, the film chronicles the days following the raid, during which Rose is forced into hiding to evade arrest joined by her two accomplices, Dominic (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) and Martin (Lewis Brophy).
