The Last Hunt

Where millions of buffalo once roamed the West's vast northern plains, now only a single herd remains. Into this freezing, wind-blown land travel two feuding gunmen, tracking the buffalo for The Last Hunt. Dakota Territory, 1883. Charlei Gilson (Robert Taylor) and Sandy McKenzie (Stewart Grainger), partners and enemies, track the last remaining herd. After their first raid on the buffalo, slaughtering solely for the fun of killing, Gilson captures an Indian girl (Debra Paget) and her baby. But McKenzie helps her escape and return to her village. There, McKenzie realizes that the Indians are dying from starvation because the buffalo have been exterminated. He decides to help them, but to succeed he will first have to defeat McKenzie.
