Andre, currently sitting on the Empire throne, is confronted by several people who now want to get in on the company and Hakeem sets his sights on the lead role in the first Empire movie. Meanwhile, Becky and Giselle search for their first Bossy Media artist.

Lucious finds it impossible to deny his feelings for Cookie, while continuing to support Yana and her rise to stardom. When the Lyons face their biggest threat yet, Lucious prepares for the battle of his life and realizes that in the end, family is what matters the most.

About this show

Hip-hop artist and CEO of Empire Entertainment, Lucious Lyon, has always ruled unchallenged, but a medical diagnosis predicts he will be incapacitated in three years, which prompts the sharks to circle. Without further damaging his family, he must decide which of his three sons will take over. His favorite, young Hakeem, is a gifted musician but values fame over hard work. Middle son, Jamal, is talented and shy but gay -- embarrassing to Lyon. The oldest, Andre, is business-minded but lacks charisma. The reappearance of Cookie, his ex-wife, complicates things; she says he owes her for taking the fall for the drug-running that financed his early career.

absolutely amazing. excellent talent, fabulous music. I am truly hooked can't wait for more episodes. having withdrawal symptoms already. To leave it on such a cliff hanger my mind is blown!!!

Its not one of those story's where it's all posh like the queen it's episodes that relate to ppl living the hard way in life like bad man wannabes and gangsters that probably sell weed anyway as I was saying it's about ppl that don't get anywhere in life but in the end they change there habits and transform there self with a important Job that they care and love to do get children and get a long way in life .
