About this movie

Every town has its secrets, as college student Rose Halshford (Miranda Cosgrove) learns when she and her dad (Donal Logue) move into a musty, old house. When Rose discovers that the previous tenant mysteriously disappeared, leaving her possessions behind, she suspects her unfriendly neighbors know more than they let on. When Rose reports strange noises coming from inside the house, no one, not even her father believes her, insisting that it’s all in her head. As Rose’s suspicions grow she begins to fear that she may be the next victim of whatever or whomever has infiltrated her new home.

Everybody but the maun character was a bad actor and the outcome/twist was predictable. Especially when she falls down the stairs and the guy in the house was blurred out but still at the same time clearly visible. I feel like they expected you not to see him and not to guess who but it was pretty obvious.

It was good considering the fact that a couple years ago Miranda Cosgrove was on a comedy show for pre-teens on Nickelodeon. But definitely a movie that should only be rented because of how cliche it is compared to the new types of horror movies

Stupid movie with stupid people for stupid people. The most frightening part was how stupid the characters were. Get a dog. Don't leave daughter alone in new house. Tell that someone is coming by house. Change locks. Uggh!
