Shock Value

the horror movie that I was expecting, but that didnt stop me from enjoying the story that was being told. On the scale between Comedy and Horror...this one falls closest to Comedy. Fortunately, its not in that slapstick way that cheesy Horror films do more often than not. The film is actually shot pretty well for what I assume is a very low budget movie. Color is good and shots look as good as any other Horror movie out these days. Relatively unknown actors fill up the cast, but there are some decent performances - as well as some not so decent ones. After getting over my initial feeling of being bummed out that I was about to see the next greatest horror film - I was pleasantly surprised by the quirky little story that unfolded. Definitely worth a watch for the hardcore fan of the genre. Not so much for the casual. Just dont go in expecting a gore fest.
