Jonathan Kasdan makes his directorial debut with a romantic dramedy about trying to make sense of love. Devastated by the recent breakup with his true love, twentysomething writer Carter Webb (Adam Brody--"The O.C.") escapes Los Angeles for suburban Michigan to care for his ailing grandmother (Academy Award® winner Olympia Dukakis--Moonstruck). Soon after his arrival, he stumbles into the lives of the women across the street: a mother (Meg Ryan--When Harry Met Sally) and her two daughters.
