The Happytime Murders

I thought this might be fun to watch, and had a free rental, but it really is boring. I made it through though and can tell you it is a basic script with no surprises, no humour, and didnt take the premise anywhere where this could be enjoyable. The lead is so low energy this drags and Melissa McCarthy again is unlikable and annoying. This was a flop at the box office for a reason, save your money or wait for this to come out on netflix

Teenagers will probably find this film a hoot since it will probably be the first time they've seen puppets in the "adult world". They will probably love the occasional purile humor as well.(I remember loving Meet the Feebles). For the rest of us this movie is hit and miss. It could have done without the lame social commentary as well. I watch comedies to have a good time and forget about the real world not be reminded of it.

Do not watch this if you are a snowflake or a NPC. Sit in your safe space,suck your thumb and let the adults have a laugh. It is funny and i am glad that Google Play put it up. I have seen ruder movies on Public Television, but at least this has humor. Have a few Wild Turkeys before watching it and sit back for the ride.
