The Last Five Years

Meg Imperial plays Joan, a girl from the province who now works as a social worker in Manila. Bubbly and smart, she is nice to have around, and her relatives welcome her to live with them. Eventually, though, she moves in with William. Tom Rodriguez plays William, an advertising executive. He is meticulous and hardworking, but very loving and understanding. He and Joan fell in love instantly. Living together is a big step, but William and Joan are able to make it work. Each one learns to concede, always finding a middle ground. As their relationship enters the fifth year, that M word that Joan most desires but William always tries to dodge must already be discussed. And when they do, will someone give in so they can stay together? Or will they make the decision to walk out on each other?
