About this show

The Kilcher family lives on a 600-acre homestead in Alaska. For four generations, they have lived off the land in a subsistence lifestyle. With another brutal winter quickly approaching, the entire homestead struggles to stockpile enough meat and firewood to last. See how they not only survive, but thrive on Alaska: The Last Frontier.

Enjoy seeing how families live in our colder parts of the Americas. Most episodes are very good.
