Brokenwood mourns when a beloved local poet, Declan O’Grady, passes away from cancer. But the town gets a shock when the coffin accidentally falls from the hearse, revealing that the corpse inside is not Declan but rather a young woman identifiable only by a scarlet tattoo.

On the morning of Brokenwood’s annual classic-car show, the chairman of the Classic Car Restoration Society is found dead with a lungful of gasoline next to his beloved El Dorado. Shepherd and Sims try to determine if it was a petrol-siphoning accident or something more deliberate.

4 A Merry Bloody Christmas

It’s Christmas in Brokenwood, but not all is merry and bright. When the mayor is murdered in his home after the annual holiday parade, Shepherd, Sims, and Breen question those locals vying for the mayoral position. But when more bodies turn up, the detectives believe there’s a darker motive at work.

I bought Season 5 and can not watch it on the app, as episodes 2-4 have disappeared. I have to go to YouTube online to watch the episodes that have vanished from the app. Very annoying! Seasons 1-3 are excellent but then you get to season 4 and 5 and suddenly they are pushing the LGBTQ agenda. When I want to be entertained I don't want to watch things that are pushing political, religious etc... agenda's. Also another annoying thing, detective Sims relationship (can't give away plot) but ahhh!🤯

Purchases Disappearing. I bought the complete season 5 (episodes 1-4) in July 2020 for £6.99. But now only episode 4 is showing up as available. Season 5 episodes 1-3 have complete disappeared from the Google Play store & my purchases.
