Rick Castle overcame his writer’s block and found his muse when he started working with NYPD Detective Kate Beckett. Initially asked to consult on a murder case, but extending his special assignment when he found inspiration, Castle’s unconventional talent of perception and deduction haven’t always mixed well with Beckett’s more traditional methods of police work.
