The New Legends of Monkey

A girl discovers a statue of the Monkey King and searches for the golden crown she needs to release the ancient god from his stone prison, but demons have the crown in their possession.

Tripitaka feels disappointed when she releases the Monkey King and finds him indifferent to the mission. With demons in pursuit, she finds help in the unlikeliest of places.

Princess Locke traps Monkey and Sandy. Tripitaka escapes and attempts to convince Pigsy that he should abandon his mistress so he can help her free the two gods from imprisonment.

A gang of rebel bandits intercept the heroes as they make their way to the Western Mountains. The leader of the rebels plans to capture Monkey after learning that Tripitaka can control the crown.

A mystical shamanic demon glamours Monkey, Sandy and Pigsy. They're all transported to a strange prison called the Breaking Ground.

Tripitaka tries to act quickly before Monkey is lost forever as he journeys further into his past. She finds a way to go after him by using a sutra and uncovers the mystery of his imprisonment.
