Backstage pre-performance negotiations between Richie Finestra and Robert Plant are a highlight of Episode One. The minor- part actor playing Plant captures his oddly combined massive ego and slight vulnerability ("I'm just the singer...") nicely. All this with John Bonham and the looming Peter Grant raging at Ritchie's partner (whom he disowns as a ploy) over their split of the gate. Classic hustling from both camps.
