Howard's Mill

I love true documentaries, especially nonfiction mysteries. I hit play, immediately knew it was fake. The characters, from victims to filmmakers, were unnatural and rehearsed. Unlikely camera footage/angles of "incidents" were too good, instead of imperfect real-life. At least categorize in the fiction, drama-type sections! Instead, they dishonor the true meaning of documentary, just like all "serious" mockumentaries. They are meaningless. Of course, comedy mockumentaries get a pass.

Disappointing. It pretty quickly becomes obvious it's a pseudo- documentary even though the filmmakers went to lengths to hide this fact. It doesn't help that it's categorized as a documentary here and elsewhere. It is pure fiction.

This is a fake documentary. I detest "mockumentaries." This is not funny or even remotely entertaining!
