This movie mirrors my life in so many ways. Young black child battered and abused, found a way out by joining the Navy. Entered the Navy with severe anger problems and PTSD....I lived the same life except I'm a female. Call me Antoinette Fisher. I think I've found my favorite movie of all time.

Great story of a young man's battle to overcome his past as he fights to survive the awful memories of his childhood . Both actors did a good job.

It is a story of love, hate, good, bad, and survival through all of these emotions. Any college student in sociology or Psychology should watch it - best movie hands down!
