About this movie

The fascinating story of the greatest chess player in history, Bobby Fischer. He was an American chess prodigy and considered by many to be the greatest player of all time. In 1971, he became the first World Chess Federation #1 ranked player. In 1972, he captured the World Championship from Boris Spassky of the USSR in a match publicized as a Cold War confrontation attracting more worldwide interest than any chess championship before or since. Later exiled from America, Fischer lived a strange globetrotting life and was followed by many personal demons until his death in 2008.

I don't like its attempt to hide that it's too filled with talking heads, clever as that attempt was. I do like that it told a story and showed good clips. The end is completely contradictory to what I've seen in other docs. I will find the truth the "old-fashioned" way. Books! Omg!
