10/10. Theory: Stephen King was a ghostwriter for this. Think about it. Also, there's some incredible polish in this movie, just feel how those gunshots feel. The sound design is terrifying. And if you're hesitant because of the right-wing villain, the movie is not a political statement, and isn't about that stuff; the writer just modelled our villain after some mass shooters who wrote manifestos over the last decade. To make it feel real and scary and to remind us that guys like that are actually out there. And he's not just a stereotype, but a fully fleshed out stereotype, an idea given flesh and meaning and existence, and you can feel his pain and anger, and that's something that's hard to pull off.
Absolutely not.
