National Geographic explorer and photographer Ronan Donovan arrives in the Arctic to begin his quest to find and document a pack of white wolves as the year’s pups are born. He journeys to a remote region in the mountains called Wolf Valley and there he finds a family of wolves—but these elusive creatures soon force him to reevaluate his mission.

After making the difficult decision to leave Wolf Valley, through perseverance and luck he meets a new pack of wolves: the Polygon Pack.

The family has not eaten for nearly a week and they’re hungry and restless. The pack’s matriarch leads her children on one last hunt and after leaves her family in turmoil.
