Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio and Seymour Cassel star as three men who have two things in common: They are all searching for better lives, and they all live in Staten Island, the forgotten borough of New York City. Once their lives intersect, nothing will ever be the same.

Septic tank cleaner Sully Halverson (Hawke--Training Day) is desperate to give his unborn son the chance he never had. Deaf-mute deli worker Jasper Sabiano (Cassel--Boiling Point) yearns to escape from the mobsters that have infiltrated his life and business; and local mob boss, Parmie Tarzo (D'Onofrio--JFK) dreams of crushing the competition and becoming infamous any way he can.
