Genius super villain M.O.D.O.K. spends his time juggling his evil scientific empire, AIM, and his responsibilities as a husband and father to two teens. Due to financial strains, M.O.D.O.K. is sweet-talked into selling AIM to tech giant GRUMBL. Upon realizing his mistake, M.O.D.O.K. goes to super villainous lengths to get his company back, even going as far as mind-controlling his own wife. He ultimately fails to save AIM, and his lifelong obsession with conquering the world leaves his wife, Jodie, with only one option ― divorce.
2 The M.O.D.O.K. That Time Forgot!

In a bid to save his marriage, M.O.D.O.K. takes Jodie back in time to a concert they missed when they were in college. During a detour to kill the child-version of his GRUMBL boss, M.O.D.O.K. and Jodie are attacked by college-aged M.O.D.O.K., who accidentally absorbs their time crystals, stranding them in 2002. The couple reconciles but is stuck in the past until they catch up to the present. Once in the present, they prevent themselves from ever going to the past in the first place, erasing their entire adventure from the timeline.
3 Beware What From Portal Comes!

M.O.D.O.K brings Melissa and Lou along to a remote GRUMBL leadership conference. After learning that he's not the guest of honor, M.O.D.O.K. enlists Melissa's help in manipulating the executives into respecting him. His schemes accidentally lead to him opening up a portal that brings the dangerously hedonistic alien species, the Ciegrimites, to the conference. While the aliens are initially the life of the party, executives begin to drop dead from partying too hard, leading M.O.D.O.K. and Melissa to wipe out the Ciegrimites and save the conference.
4 If Saturday Be...For the Boys!

After getting kicked out of the A-List villains' Soho Lair, M.O.D.O.K. decides to slum it at The Bar With No Name. There, he forms a crew of street-level baddies, intent on using them for a heist that will get him back into the Soho Lair. However, after a wild night of bonding and backstory sharing, they form a real camaraderie. Meanwhile, Jodie goes looking for M.O.D.O.K. at AIM and bonds with Monica while Lou meets Monica's daughter, Carmilla. College-aged M.O.D.O.K. has returned from the time stream and kidnaps the Super Adaptoid.
5 If Bureaucracy Be...Thy Death!

M.O.D.O.K., finding himself stifled by GRUMBL's bureaucratic control of AIM, teams up with Monica to take down their new bosses. Monica's hatred toward M.O.D.O.K. remains however and she ends up betraying M.O.D.O.K., causing the two to have a mad scientist duel, which M.O.D.O.K. loses in front of his whole company. Monica is promoted to Scientist Supreme and M.O.D.O.K. is stripped of his authority. Meanwhile, Jodie's life without M.O.D.O.K. flourishes as one of her videos goes viral, launching her into internet fame.
6 Tales From the Great Bar-Mitzvah War!

Lou, feeling like M.O.D.O.K. is stifling his individuality ahead of his bar mitzvah, jumps into M.O.D.O.K.'s portal to Asgard. There, Lou is taken by a tribe of goblins known as Kobolds, but wins them over with his magic tricks and becomes their leader. He refuses to go back home with his dad, so M.O.D.O.K. takes control of an army of Asgardian warriors and wages war against his son. Eventually, M.O.D.O.K. and Lou strike a deal and use Lou's magic tricks to pacify the Kobolds. Meanwhile, the Super Adaptoid agrees to help young M.O.D.O.K.
7 This Man...This Makeover!

Jodie's celebrity is on the rise and M.O.D.O.K. plans on winning her back from her new boyfriend, the superhero Wonder Man. Jodie and her publicist invite M.O.D.O.K. to a party, knowing his temper will bring publicity. M.O.D.O.K. provokes Wonder Man into attacking him at the party and is kicked out. Wonder Man leaves Jodie when he sees she's only using him for exposure. Melissa and Lou bond over their disappointment in their parents. M.O.D.O.K. and Jodie have sex when he goes to apologize, and it is revealed who exactly was behind her publicist's actions.
8 O, Were Blood Thicker Than Robot Juice!

Young M.O.D.O.K. has kidnapped the family and replaced them with robots that trick M.O.D.O.K. into thinking Jodie wants him back. M.O.D.O.K. learns the truth and goes to free his real family. The family meet up inside the carnival-themed arena Murderworld, where young M.O.D.O.K. and Arcade reveal that each family member has two robotic replicas and that they must fight to the death, unsure of who is real or fake. Jodie goes toe-to-toe with Young M.O.D.O.K. The family leaves feeling united for the first time in a while.
9 What Menace Doth the Mailman Deliver!

M.O.D.O.K. suddenly starts acting like a model employee, dutifully delivering mail and making tablets. Austin has a change of heart and tries to inform M.O.D.O.K. who really is running GRUMBL. Thrown by M.O.D.O.K.'s new behavior, Gary thinks it's Austin's fault, and Monica suspects M.O.D.O.K. is planning something against her. Eventually, M.O.D.O.K. reveals that he is selling his shares in AIM to Tony Stark and starts a new business with Monica. Austin misses the chance to tell M.O.D.O.K. the truth about GRUMBL.
10 Days of Future M.O.D.O.K.S

Lou's bar mitzvah doesn't attract many guests, so M.O.D.O.K. is forced to invite the villains and creatures he's met along the season. Young M.O.D.O.K. attacks and puts the family in a precarious situation before taking M.O.D.O.K. into the time stream. Young M.O.D.O.K. reveals that if M.O.D.O.K. truly wants to take over the world, his family has to die. M.O.D.O.K. is forced to make the toughest decision of his life.

I loved Patton's Oswalt's misunderstood perspective on modok and the genuine struggle between professional excellence and family
