It’s a new school year and Gerry has finally achieved his goal: full-time Phys Ed! But when he finds out how Bobbi’s been teaching Phys Ed, Gerry’s appalled, and sets out to teach the course the way it should be taught…or the way he thinks it should be taught, anyways. Meanwhile, Dwyer learns the ropes to his newly appointed position of Vice Principal; and Nisha, fresh off her camp counsellor summer job, struggles to reset boundaries with three seniors.

Lisa, now married to Alex’s father and still reeling from her Xavier departure, sets out to punish the staff by running for the unopposed position of PTA president. Fearing their Lisa-free days may be numbered, Gerry and Robert go to great lengths to block her candidacy. Meanwhile, Malik isn’t overly fond of his new job; and Simon and Nisha may be a little too fond of each other…in the school.

Gerry meets Ginger, the new DJ at his local gym, and is immediately smitten. In a misguided effort to impress her, he makes up a school dance and offers her a gig as the DJ. Only problem: Robert has banned dances and isn’t budging on his position. Meanwhile, Xavier Academy’s newest teacher, Dave, learns a hard truth about surviving the profession; and Dwyer uses his inmate girlfriend to scare a couple of insubordinate students straight.

When Central High’s hockey team (led by Coach Meyers) crushes Xavier, Gerry strongly suspects them of cheating. In order to level the playing field, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Bobbi struggles to let go as she prepares for her maternity leave; and Dwyer decides to finally pop the question to his girlfriend, Donna.

Gerry’s dream job takes another hit when he learns that teaching Phys Ed requires more paperwork than he could ever have anticipated. And while Gerry wants to do a “good job,” he wants to “play sports and have fun” more, prompting him to find a way around all this paperwork. Meanwhile, having cut her maternity leave short, Bobbi juggles work and a newborn; and a still-vengeful Lisa befriends some fellow moms who may have some helpful dirt on Xavier.

After getting pulled into participating in the teacher auction, Gerry finds himself in a compromising situation that may or may not involve calves and oil. Meanwhile, Emma is dealt a raw deal after she enlists Dwyer to fix the drip and draft in her library; and Trudy is paid a surprise visit from her old bandmates.

Gerry learns the meaning of ‘Work-to-Rule’ and is immediately in awe of this new and exciting concept. With the promise of less work hanging in the balance, Gerry works hard to fire up his fellow staff in an elaborate ploy to go on Work-to-Rule. Meanwhile, Lisa attempts to set some much-needed boundaries between herself and her hormonally charged stepson Alex; and Nisha inadvertently reveals a little too much to her students.

After being ridiculed by Coach Meyers, Gerry has to beat him at something and takes control of the Xavier Girls Soccer team from Dave. Only trouble is, the team is terrible. But Gerry isn’t giving up that easily…especially after he discovers Xavier’s newest secret weapon. Meanwhile, Frank is seduced by an ambitious mom; and, with her marriage crumbling, Lisa’s reign of terror over Xavier’s staff seems to be nearing its end.

Gerry’s day is ruined when his mouthy and least favourite student, Amanda-Susan, is Principal for a Day. Meanwhile, a harmless prank on Lisa takes a horrific turn; and Bobbi’s well-intentioned meddling accidentally ruins an innocent student’s life.

Due to a series of recent thefts, Robert hires a school security guard, Ron. After an initial personality clash, Gerry goes to great lengths to discredit Ron - a task that proves more challenging that he had anticipated. Meanwhile, Robert learns the unsettling truth behind his baby’s name; and Simon finally pops his proverbial cherry.

Using Xavier Academy as its sample, an investigative reporting team sets out to determine the true value of the private school system. Through a series of interviews and recovered footage, however, the team instead exposes Xavier’s deepest and darkest secret: Gerry Duncan.
