Season 1 episodes (8)

1 Ten Salon: Long Beach, CA
8/21/08
The Ten Salon is inaccurately named unless the salon rating scale is based on 100. Tabatha Coffey will need to deal with a staff that has lost their passion under the oppression of a strict rules handbook and an absurd salon design that hides itself from the outside world. The clock is ticking as Coffey races to save the business and even the marriage of salon owners, Chris and Kwanna.
2 De Cielo Salon: Burbank, CA
8/28/08
Although De Cielo Spa and Salon promises a heavenly experience, Coffey uncovers a filthy hell when she drops in. Coffey and the staff must hold a scrub brush with one hand and their noses with the other as they attempt to clean up the business and the attitude of their lazy boss who reaches his boiling point when he is exposed by the one and only Coffey.
3 Martino Cartier at Giovanni and Pileggi: Sewell, NJ
9/4/08
The Martino Cartier at Giovanni and Pileggi Salon is run more like a nightclub -- complete with scantily clad girls, gold chains, and kisses on the lips. But the no-nonsense Tabatha Coffey has no patience for Martino's playboy ways and forces him to take a hard look at his out of control credit card debt, lavish lifestyle, and over the top behavior. Coffey only has one week to show this Jersey party guy that he needs to grow up and take control as the owner of this business. And the stakes are high. If Martino doesn't quickly have a major transformation, his salon will go under fast.
4 Images Salon: Oyster Bay, NY
9/11/08
Getting your hair done at Images of Oyster Bay is a flashback to the 1980s: big hair, plunging necklines and trash talking stylists. Tabatha Coffey has a big task ahead to elevate this Long Island strip mall salon, which includes a self-proclaimed "hoochie-mama" who talks like a truck driver and an anxiety-ridden "cry-baby" who snaps under Coffey's "drill-sergeant" methods. Outraged at the salon's low rent customer service and the stylists' terrible skills, Tabatha takes the staff on a field trip to an exclusive Manhattan salon so the owners and staff can experience true high-end service. But will it make the difference?
5 Salon Tika: Rockville Centre, NY
9/18/08
When career hair stylist Ralph Aktrui sunk his retirement nest egg into buying Salon Tika for his two young immature daughters, he had no idea he would be diagnosed with MS and have to rely on them for the daily management of the business. Coffey is outraged that these "spoiled brats" run the salon like a sorority party and have no plan to repay their father so he can retire comfortably. The entire family's survival is in jeopardy and Coffey has to do a major intervention to get these girls to take the business and their family responsibilities seriously.
6 The Loft on Broadway Salon: Long Beach, CA
9/25/08
Tami, the owner of The Loft on Broadway, has no hair styling experience and avoids confrontation at all cost. Her lax management style makes for a sloppy and ill managed business and Tabatha has her work cut out for her.
7 Hairlab: Woodland Hills, CA
10/2/08
When Kathy Barolotta invested her entire life savings into Hairlab with her nephew, Tim Provencher, she thought she had her retirement all set. But business is terrible, the stylists are out of control, and Kathy is not making enough to live. If Tim and Kathy don't step up and start to manage their stylists and market their business, Kathy could be out on the street.
8 Candolyn's: Downtown Los Angeles, Ca
10/9/08
Candolyn Sabido has owned Candolyn's Salon for ten years but she has fallen on hard times. Candolyn thinks her stylists are liars and thieves and they think Candolyn is crazy. She is losing control of her staff, losing customers from her business, and losing hope fast. If she and her staff don't get on the same page soon, Candolyn will go out of business and be left with nothing.

About this show

The straight-talking, perfectly coifed Tabatha Coffey lends her sound advice and styling expertise to help desperate salon owners turn their struggling businesses around in the Bravo series, "Tabatha's Salon Takeover." The show follows Coffey, the charismatic former "Shear Genius" contestant and Australian native, as she visits struggling salons in the Los Angeles and New York areas and literally takes over the establishments to whip them into shape. Coffey brings her no-nonsense approach to the salon owners and stylists, all teetering on the verge of collapse and in dire need of her skilled business direction. With just a week to work her magic, can she put these salons back on their feet or is it time for the shops to put up the closed sign for good?

I loved this show but they cancelled it and I don't understand why. It was great humor but also taught alot about running successful business. Hope it comes back one day.

All I can say is that I really love this show! Great departure from all the overdone drama-filled television shows.
