John Steed (Patrick Macnee) and his new secret agent partner Tara King (Linda Thorson) embark on a string of crime solving adventures in the final series of the original cult TV Series, The Avengers.

The final season of The Avengers has a rather uneven tone, but personally I enjoy the diverse approach taken to the formula. Tara King is underrated, and some episodes rank for me among the best of the series. (Clowns do abound, though.)

I remember watching these with my dad every Saturday evening, I'm 34 now and always come back to them because they are simple to the point and great. British tv has died and this is up there with sapphire and steel. Brilliant

I love the show, I understand that there are some episodes left of season 1, be nice to have these, where is series 2 & 3 there all intact
