About this movie

Ex-gang member John Henry (Terry Crews) is a quiet man with a violent past. When two immigrant kids on the run from his former South Los Angeles gang leader (Chris “Ludacris" Bridges) stumble into his life, John is forced to reconcile with his past in order to try and give them a future.

I am disappointed. With the title it has, and the picture, with a strong man wielding a sledge hammer, you would think it actually had something to do with the folk tale of John Henry, a great african american man. It does not, though.

Interesting that they would cast the guy that tried to make all men appear weak by popularizing the term, "Toxic Masculinity." How feminine of him. Then, on top of that, gave him a stereotypical character in this garbage movie. Lol

For Ludacris and Terry Crews being in this movie, I expected better... It starts out decent and just drags out until the end with a lot of mediocre dialogue.
