Being nearly 80 years old, renowned Asian American animator and filmmaker Jimmy Murakami decides to leave the peaceful and cloudy Dublin, his adopted city, to return to his native California with the aim of healing the memories of the hardest episode of his life.
As a child, Murakami was detained with his family in the Tule Lake concentration camp as part of a discriminatory policy that the United States government carried out during the Second World War against the population of Japanese origin, to whom they referred to as "Non Aliens"
In this beautiful documentary, Murakami acts as the host and narrator of this transcendental journey, which is illustrated by his magnificent creations.
