Harry needed to be on his own naughty list
I wish there was more killing; Santa's naughty list wasn't too long. Hell of an awesome ending.
I love this movie, blessed to have it on dvd. There's a strong dark humor element to this movie, and the lead actor's descent into madness is both funny and slightly creepy. This is the perfect Christmas movie for those who don't like Christmas.
I was late to the party in finally watching “Christmas Evil” for the first time as I planned to over the holidays but never got around to it. I finally did after years of hearing about this horror holiday movie and it was good. The kills are a little bit lame but considering it came out in 1980, I can only imagine that at the time, it delivered. The acting performance by Brandon Maggart was brilliant. That’s what made it a solid movie for me since he delivered and overall, the creepiness he brought to the character was great. I was hoping for a better ending since I felt it was a bit too gimmicky but I get what was trying to be achieved. I give this a 4/5 since some parts dragged on. The kills were okay but I was expecting more for a slasher, but regardless, this was fun to watch and I’m sure even more so during Christmas. Maggart stole the show!
