southern gothic, dark as pitch. more unsettling than scary, but horrific either way. would've benefited from tighter editing, as some parts dragged. still, i enjoyed it :)

Okay thriller with slight horror vibes. Familiar faces make it easier to watch. Decent plot twist that comes out of the 3 chapter story.
Superb southern gothic, grim and and intense and told like a horror story unfolding with a novelist's attention to detail and character. Great perfornance from Nick Stahl, one of his generation's most underrated actors.
