It was good scary, but the reason I gave 4 of 5 skulls because something I don't understand about the ending. I was so confused how the creepy woman got into the lady's body from ending.
This had the potential to be really good, but it just falls flat. The weakest part to me is the protagonist - we don't learn anything about her or her motivations, she's really boring and I wasn't invested in her at all. Similarly, the villian's motivations aren't explained either and the ending is lame. Not sure what I was supposed to get out of this. This is definitely the most boring Korean horror movie I've seen.
Really intriguing, never boring. Even though I had trouble trying to figure out what exactly was going on (ie, whose director's ghost story film was operative), I was never bored. The performances were really good and the set/lighting was creepy. However, the confusing plot kept me from giving this film 5 skulls.
Solid, worth your time.
Count me in as someone who was totally confused throughout this movie, but it didn't bother me all that much. I just went along for the ride and found it a fun watch with some good scary tension at times.
