I tell you since finding a home as Shudder originals, the V/H/S franchise has found its footing and we're seeing more consistent outings. V/H/S isn't a perfect film, nor is it the best from the franchise at least in my opinion. There's a few stories I wasn't crazy about. But I really liked the others. The 1st, 4th & final ones are the best. Just an overall good movie that I have zero problems recommending. 3/5
The best V/H/S so far, by a lot. The whole series has been doing really well since it came to Shudder, but the batting average here is by far the strongest.
It was interesting overall, some segments were meh but others were pretty decent. My favourite was the lake segment, took a bit to finish but worth it. A lot kind of felt like pointless gore and not in the fun way I remember from 80s horror
4 skulls- not to bad of a movie could have been better with the stories and tied them together but it was a decent watch.
Have not been a fan of most in this series though this one grabbed my attention. Interesting segments with the right amount of gore incorporated into the storytelling. Loved seeing the occasional 80s TV ads that I remember from the time period.
