The House on Sorority Row

The House on Sorority Row

Directed by Mark Rosman

A vicious killer stalks a group of sorority girls at their graduation party in this 80s slasher favorite. When the mean Mrs. Slater tries to put the kibosh on their kegger, Vicky and her friends devise a nasty prank to get even. But when things go too far and Mrs. Slater dies, the girls cover up the crime and have the party anyway. What nobody knows is that someone saw what happened, and they're not about to let the girls get away with it. Before long, the psycho starts picking off the partiers, turning the blowout into a bloodbath of epic proportions.

Still considered to be one of my sentimental gems! 80s slashers are my all time favorites since they bring back so many memories, and this one's no exception! Ya gotta love those party pop bands from that time in these kinds of films! Adds to the nostalgia for sure! Not much gore, but good story and suspense builds once kills start happening! Still a great watch in my opinion! Needs to be on The Last Drive In!

Not sure why this is considered a classic… it’s camp but not camp enough. Or scary enough. Or good enough. Or bad enough. It’s just there

solid slasher with decent tension (both for the kills and between the actual characters) and some cool shots. i guessed the twist pretty quickly, though. a good movie to throw on in the background
