Six friends get together during lockdown for their weekly zoom call. It's Haley’s turn to organise an activity and instead of a quiz, she’s arranged for a Medium to conduct a séance. Bored and feeling mischievous, Jemma decides to have some fun and invents a story about a boy in her school who hanged himself. However, her prank gives license for a demonic presence to cross over, taking on the guise of the boy in Jemma’s made-up story. The friends begin noticing strange occurrences in their homes as the evil presence begins to make itself known, and they soon realise that they might not survive the night. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.

I love the found footage category and this lives up to it. Good jump scares and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Great Movie Love it
I put off watching this movie for a long time because I didn’t think it was gonna be anything great. But it was actually really really good. And it has some really good creepy parts. I loved it.
put on a short lil horror movie to craft to and this genuinely made me jump out of my skin like 4 times
For being filmed with such limitations (filmed entirely on Zoom), Host is far better than it has any right to be. The plot is a simple one with a modern twist, preying on the worlds anxieties and PTSD of pandemic lockdown.
